I had the most relaxing stay at this hotel in rural Japan. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had a great time. They even gave me a lift to the nearby monkey park, which was fantastic. The outdoor bath was a highlight, and the garden view from my room was out of this world. The spacious room had clean bed sheets and two proper beds, which were extremely comfortable. The icing on the cake was the delicious breakfast provided each morning.
All was great, nothing to improve!

A great place to stay if you're looking for traditional Japanese style accommodation. the rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. the hotel has an amazing indoor and outdoor hot spring. the staff are very welcoming and accommodating. They offered a lift to the Snow Monkey Park and the train station. the food was delicious with lots of traditional Japanese dishes to choose from. A wonderful experience!
This hotel was not suitable for vegans or vegetarians due to the limited options in the menu. Some dishes contained fish, which wasn't ideal.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. First, the location was ideal for me as it was conveniently close to both the train station and the famous Monkey park. It made getting around a breeze. Second, the staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They were friendly, helpful, and made me feel like part of their family. Lastly, the rooms were absolutely stunning with beautiful views of the outside garden. I couldn't resist taking a moment each morning to admire the serene surroundings. Plus, the fact that each room had its own toilet was a nice touch of convenience. Oh, and the breakfast provided each day was simply delicious. All in all, this hotel delivered an exceptional and authentic Japanese experience.
I honestly can't think of a single thing that could have been improved. Everything was simply perfect.

Had an amazing Christmas experience at this hotel. The communal baths with the lovely garden view were the best! The staff offered a free laundry service which was a great bonus. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a quick walk from the train station. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful view of the garden.
The hotel did not have individual showers in the rooms, but only communal baths. This may not appeal to everyone, so be advised.
